    Description

    This is a beautiful piece of Bakelite Catalin set in a stand of the same material.  The stand measures 3” x 1 3/4” and the disk is almost 3” across.  The butterscotch color has swirls of different shades and when held against the light, you can see it come through.  I have seen the word Damari with some Bakelite beads, but I don’t know if it applies to this piece.  It is in very good condition with only a few tiny scratches.  There are no chips or cracks and all the edges are smooth.  Please look closely at pics as they are part of the description.  Thanks for looking.
