Condition: In excellent condition. Bakelite base with tagua nut body, bakelite feet and head and beak. Eyes look like they are white glass with black dots. Base measures 4 3/8 inches by 3 inches and 1/4 inches thick.

Description

This is a beautiful NUTBIRD with a bakelite beak and base. Very fine quality and similar to the quality of YZ pieces sold by Alfred Dunhill.
I was friends with Ian Holdsworth who wrote the YZ book and this bird is pictured on page 112. I have collected many YZ pieces and also quality knockoffs as this is. I am downsizing and have decided to let some of my fine birds go. I will be listing 3 others similar to this for now so please take a look and in the future I plan to list some of my YZ pieces.
