Vintage BACKGAMMON Checkers RED Catalin YELLOW Bakelite plus Dice in Wood Case

Description

You're buying a set of THIRTY backgammon checkers, along with four dice and a doubling cube.  There are 15 checkers that are red with swirling and presumably are made of catalin, bakelite or some other similar vintage plastic material.  There are 15 yellow (or perhaps a light shade of butterscotch) checkers that appear to be made of bakelite or some other similar type of vintage plastic.  The checkers measure approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter and about 1 7/16 inches thick.
There are four dice -- two are made of transparent red plastic and the others are a yellowish shade of beige and may be made of bakelite or some other similar material.  The dice measure approximately 9/16 inch.  The doubling cube appears to be made of red catalin or bakelite and measures approximately 1 inch.
These checkers and dice are fitted into what would appear to be the original box for the set.  The box is made of wood that is hinged on one side.  It measures approximately 9 1/4 x 6 1/8 x 1 3/4 inches.  Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare.
None of these pieces appear to be marked.  This set is in excellent condition with no damage or problems.  The wood box has only very slight wear that seems consistent with the nature and age of such a piece.  The photos provide a good indication of the condition.
