Vintage 1956 Bakelite Catalin Butterscotch & Burgundy Womens Golf Trophy. Trophy is Catalin Plastic, not Bakelite. True bakelite  came in only 2 colors, black & brown. Catalin plastic was developed after bakelite.
Bakelite only comes in dark colors, usually black or dark brown.
Catalin
can come in a wide variety of color colors, including bright colors and marbling. Bakelite is opaque, while catalin is often translucent (can often see this at the edges of an item. -Google search- Trophy measures about 13 1/2" High x 3 1/2" wide x 4 1/2" deep. Mild to light wear. Great eye catching piece, and a nice piece of Women's Golf  memorabilia for the Man Cave, or She Shed. Sold as found. Thank you for looking.
