    Description

For bid is an original circa 1952 San Francisco, California Mels Drive In restaurant hamburger wrapper with an illustration of the famous restaurant on the front in red ink (with a cloud overhead).  The two Mel's locations listed on the wrapper are 140 South Van Ness Avenue & 5119 Mission Street.  Both locations in SF.  Wrapper is in very good, used condition.  It is still glued to a sheet of light brown scrapbook paper.  The original owner was a man who was in the military getting ready to head to the Korean War.  He had several other 1952 items glued to the scrapbook page.
The illustration of the famous drive-in restaurant makes this wrapper very special.  It's been glued to the page for decades!  I don't see any bad stains or any other condition problems...
