Exceptional Vintage Needlepoint Horse Head Vintage 16” x 16” - Blocked Perfect. Condition is "Used".
Exceptional vintage finished needlepoint of a horse at a fence. This is a vintage piece of needlepoint- expertly done in great condition. Circa mid century - 1950.
Blocked- done in wool against a beautiful Nile green- ♥️-
It measures 16” X 16”.
Blocked- very nice & straight. The background is done in a basket weave stitch which keeps the canvas straight. I think it was framed under glass- which has kept this piece in great condition-
Very neatly stitched. I counted 3 missing stitches- (see my closeup)
The horses eyes and some of the gate detail are done in petitpoint.
