Special features: This mechanical pencil from Elysee is in mint condition. I have to dissolve an old stock from the 80s and more Elysee models of the time are listed. The Elysee company produced very high-quality writing implements, which is where they ultimately failed. The company was founded in 1925 by Paul Dummert in Pforzheim. Gold and silver articles and writing implements were produced. In 1980 the name Elysee was designed for their writing instruments. As for a jewelry manufacturer, the quality of the writing instruments was very high. At the end of the 1990s, the company could no longer assert itself in the fierce competition in the writing instrument industry and stopped producing writing instruments in 2000. The mechanical pencil in the auction is from the Streamline series and comes in blue. Lead thickness is 0.5mm.
You are bidding for an Elysee pencil in mint condition. The pencil will come in a typical design of the 80ties. It comes in the color blue. Lead size will be 0.5mm. The series is called Streamline. I have to clear a big collection of new old stock pens from the 80ties. there will come much more interesting pens from Elysee and other brands. This factory was opened in 1925 in Pforzheim by Paul Dummert. The new owners (1970 Mr. W Klein and Mr Benziger) decided in 1980 that it is expedient for the company to have its own brand and the name Elysee was conceived. In 2000 the factory Elysee stopped to produce pens, so there won't come new models anymore.
