Balto Orthopedic Dog Knee Brace: Cruciate Ligament, Arthritis, Patella. BT-JUMP
This Brace has been designed for cases of cruciate ligament, luxation of the patella, knee joint conditions such as arthritis and arthrosis, varus and valgus.
It can be used both as an alternative to surgery, and in post-surgery.
BT JUMP has two pockets, which contain two angled splints that restrict the movement of the knee where necessary. An abdominal band ensures the brace is well secured around the dog.
The brace can also be used without splints for conditions such as arthritis and arthrosis. This is because the compression it provides increases the blood pressure in the area, thus raising the temperature and reducing the pain caused by the conditions.
Advantages
Ensuring the stability of the affected part often means aiding recovery. Two angled lateral splints in aluminium inserted into special pockets restrict movement, as required, controlling the area that needs to be held still, while the abdominal belt keeps the support in place, making sure it does not slip down or rotate.

IMPORTANT:
Measurement A is the most important criteria in making you choice. You have to measure at the middle of the thigh with the dog standing. You will get a better measurement if you measure both legs and average.
The weight is to guide you if you are unsure. If your dog is overweight please consider the weight your dog would be if he/she was not overweight.
If you hesitate between 2 sizes, always TAKE THE SMALLEST.

FAQ:
What do you call right or left leg?
=> If you are standing behind the dog looking in the same direction then the right leg is the one on the right. For example the dog on the photo is wearing the brace on its right leg.

Shipping and Handling
Before our products are shipped each item is carefully inspected and packaged so that it arrives to you in perfect condition. Damage occurring en route is highly unlikely however should this occur please contact us by email (please attach photos of damaged package and item) to report the fault within 2 days of receiving the item/s.
Return Policy
Given the nature of the products sold in our store we DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. Please understand that due to their extremely sensitive sense of smell (between 10,000 and 100,000 times as acute as humans), dogs may feel uncomfortable wearing a brace that already have another dog's smell on it.
Important
- Please note that according to the size of the brace you select, the design and the dimensions of the brace you will receive can be a bit different from the braces on the pictures (The brace on the main image is a "S" size).
The main difference will be the number of straps on the brace.
XS: 1 strap, S: 2 straps, M: 2 straps, L: 3 straps, XL: 3 straps.
