Bahooka family restaurant, located in Rosemead California--landmark "tiki-bar" & restaurant  --CLOSED- March 10th, 2013.
Opened in 1967, closed after 46 years of great food, greater drinks, fun and very unusual atmosphere!
Anyone who ever went there, will always remember the place, especially "RUFUS" the 36yr old Pacu fish, who was featured numerous times in newspapers and magazines.  Johnny Depp, a famous actor, starred with Rufus in the 1997 move- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
This 15 page, laminated collectable (laminated in 5mm pouches for lasting enjoyment- will never discolor, tear, or wear), is a tribute to this wonderfull restaurant, now closed forever!! The food was terriffic, and the tiki bar with all those "Touch of the Islands" tropical drinks.  The famous "Zombie", "Bahooka mai-tai", "Scorpion" and many others.  The most famous was the flaming bowl, Drinks for Two.
This collectable contains, the history, the restaurant menu, the Bar (A touch of the Islands) menu, the closure- Los Angeles Magazine announcement, & 30 PHOTOS of restaurant.  Photos of outside, inside, the bar, the rooms, the drinks and even--- RUFUS-- (the fish). +++++you also receive a Bahooka Family Restaurant - collectable Magnet, as seen in the pictures above..........................
